Join us for a seasonal celebration filled with inspiration and take-home tips for your garden, featuring expert talks, demos, garden tours and family workshops at RHS Garden Harlow Carr

Join us at RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, for a weekend filled with spring inspiration. With talks, demonstrations, garden tours and floristry workshops, as well as delicious local food and drink.

Garden admission applies. Free to RHS members and children under five. Book ahead online and save.

All talks, tours and cookery demos are free with garden admission, available on a first come, first served basis.

Talks and demonstrations

Take a seat in the Potting Shed tent and enjoy specialist talks and demonstrations throughout the day, with experts giving tips and inspiration for your garden at home.

Join Martin and Jill Fish for seasonal cookery demonstrations using locally grown ingredients, enjoy seasonal floristry demonstrations and learn how to make the best of your garden to grow your own.

Garden tours

Join one of our experienced curatorial team for a tour of the garden. Discover our spring garden highlights and take home some inspiration. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.

Kitchen Garden tour: meet at the apple arch. Tours start at 11am.
Garden tour: meet at the main entrance. Tours start at 1pm.

Get expert gardening advice

Throughout the weekend, the RHS Gardening Advice team will be at the entrance answering all your gardening questions, large or small. For planting suggestions, pruning advice, problem plants and everything in-between please visit the team between 10am and 4pm.

Please note: To help protect our garden from pests and diseases, please do not bring samples with you – bring clear photographs of the problem instead.

Floristry workshops

Learn a new skill from florist and horticulturalist Paula Routledge from Floral Media, who will be showing visitors how to make their own buttonhole. Take part and make your own using British grown flowers.
