Harlow Carr Library

Our lovely garden library is packed with inspirational material to help you get the most from your visit to RHS Harlow Carr

Christmas closure notice: The RHS Harlow Carr library will be closed from Thursday 19 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025 for the festive period.

Our Library at Harlow Carr is housed in the beautiful Bramall Learning Centre. Here we can offer a welcoming space full of ideas and information.

With the latest gardening publications, children’s books and some older treasures, we lend books to RHS members and offer an enquiry service for all visitors.

We also run a lively programme of exhibitions and events inspired by the garden and our collections.

A wealth of knowledge

This is an important horticultural collection within the region and covers practical gardening, garden design, garden history, wildlife gardening and much more.

Our Research Room has a collection of useful books and periodicals for consultation. Please contact the library to book appointments for research.
