Supporting the RHS as a Patron

The RHS vision is a world where gardening is embraced as a way of life – a source of joy and fulfilment, building healthier lives, stronger communities and thriving environments. This ambition drives every aspect of work, from award-winning gardens and shows, to cutting-edge scientific research and our educational and community initiatives.

By becoming a Patron of the RHS, you will not only support important work, research and educational projects, you will also have exclusive access to the RHS, experts and work. Whether you’re an RHS Associate Patron or an RHS Fellows Patron, there are a variety of annual benefits to choose from, as well as an exciting and engaging programme of events.

Become an RHS Patron

We have two levels of RHS Patron membership: RHS Associate Patrons and RHS Fellows Patrons. Both levels offer an exclusive selection of benefits allowing you to choose the level that best suits you.

RHS Associate Patrons

RHS Associate Patrons are a group of committed supporters whose generosity is vital to the work of the RHS. Associate Patrons kindly contribute £2,500 per annum (this comprises £300 for membership benefits and a suggested minimum donation of £2,200).

Benefits of RHS Associate Patrons membership:

  • Invitations to talks, events and tours across the year
  • An annual virtual garden clinic consultation with the RHS Gardening Advice team
  • Regular updates from the RHS Patrons team

RHS Fellows Patrons

RHS Fellows Patrons are a group of dedicated supporters. The diversity of the organisation’s charitable work would simply not be possible without the generous support of RHS Fellows Patrons.

RHS Fellows Patrons kindly contribute £6,000 per annum (this comprises £1,000 for membership benefits and a suggested minimum donation of £5,000).

Benefits of RHS Fellows Patrons membership:

  • A programme of garden visits and tours in the UK and abroad
  • An annual garden consultation with an expert
  • Support with gardener recruitment and development
  • Guaranteed access to senior members of the RHS Gardening Advice team for plant enquiries
  • Annual subscription to The Plant Review
