Visit RHS Gardens for £1

At the RHS, we’re keen to share the joy of gardening with as many people as possible. So, from 1 April 2023, if you receive any of the following benefits, you’ll be able to visit RHS Garden Harlow Carr for just £1:

  • Universal Credit
  • Pension Credit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

You can book £1 tickets for yourself and up to five people coming with you. This can be a mixture of children and adults. Only one member of the party needs to be receiving benefits. You will need to present proof of your benefits on arrival at the garden.

Please note: This offer applies to standard garden entry only and is not valid on separately ticketed events such as RHS Glow.

The £1 ticket scheme is one of the many ways we are making our gardens more accessible. Up to two carers with a disabled visitor, schoolchildren on guided and self-guided school visits, under 5s, affiliated horticultural societies and community groups supported by the RHS Community Outreach programme can all visit RHS Gardens for free.
