One carer or companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or another person whose disability necessitates a carer.

All guide, assistance or service dogs, including assistance dogs in training are welcome at the garden.

The Harrogate Arms Café opening times
Open daily 9.30am – 3.30pm (last orders 3pm)
Located near the Kitchen Garden, discover the new Harrogate Arms Café. Serving a fresh, seasonal menu inspired by produce grown in the Kitchen Garden. Access is through the main garden entrance.

Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms: Open daily for indoor dining 9am – 4.30pm
Bettys Shop: Open daily for takeaway 9am – 4.30pm
Bettys Tea House: Open daily for takeaway 9.30am – 4pm
Bettys Shop and Tea Rooms are located next to the garden entrance and Bettys Tea House is located inside the garden.

For the health and welfare of our visitors, we operate a no-smoking policy, inclusive of e-cigarettes, in or near certain areas of the garden, including: dining or food outlets, eating areas or terraces, picnic areas, covered spaces or buildings and the children’s play area. This may extend to other areas of the garden in periods of very dry weather.

We are concerned that the use of drones may introduce risks of injury to our staff or visitors, damage to our property, plants or local wildlife, or breaches of data protection laws. Personal drone usage is therefore prohibited at RHS Gardens. Commercial drone usage is also prohibited, save where occasionally commercial drone operators with suitable training and licences from the Civil Aviation Authority are allowed by the RHS to operate drones in an RHS Garden only where express permission has been provided to the drone operator in writing by the Head of RHS Garden Harlow Carr.Dogs in the garden

Garden seating
There are approximately 200 benches sited around the garden at regular intervals. These are of varying height with most offering arm rests.Garden toys
