Crack the egg-nigma code on our giant Easter egg hunt

Our giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Harlow Carr has got even more egg-citing! This year, children have a special quest to solve* as they search for brightly coloured eggs hidden around the garden. You can also enjoy story yoga, craft workshops and the Guess How Much I Love You™ garden adventure trail.

Book garden entry online and save; free to RHS members and children under 5. Children aged 5–16 just £5.

*A £2.50 charge applies per child for a code-breaker pack and chocolate Easter egg – pre-order online to save time at the door.

Turn detective, solve the puzzle

Saturday 5 – Monday 21 April 2025

Pick up your code-breaker pack* on arrival to take part in the quest and crack the ‘egg-nigma’ code. Each giant egg you find will reveal a symbol. Decipher the symbols and combine with clues from the other eggs to solve the puzzle. Cunning code crackers get a yummy chocolate Easter egg for finding the solution!

Guess How Much I Love You™ garden adventure trail

Saturday 5 – Monday 21 April 2025

Explore the interactive Guess How Much I Love You™ garden trail, which brings to life the adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare and is inspired by the much-loved children’s story from Walker Books. Families can bounce, hop and stretch while discovering a kaleidoscope of colours, textures and shapes found in nature.

Forest school workshop

Stop by our seasonal forest school workshop for fun, family-friendly activities.

Garden Detectives

Join the Garden Detectives on an entertaining quest around the garden, looking for signs of spring with stories, games and challenges along the way.

Story Yoga

Wednesday 9 and Wednesday 16 April 2025
11am, 12.30pm and 2pm 

Take time out to enjoy a guided yoga session with Suzanne from Enchantica’s. The session includes a story and offers relaxation for the whole family.
