The Great Garden Adventure with Shaun the Sheep

Join the fun and frolics with Shaun this summer as he learns top tips about how to grow scrumptious fresh food from the garden to keep him in great condition

Join us for a summer packed full of fun at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Take part in our Claystation sessions, and head off on a bug hunt on one of our Forest School workshops. You can even try some circus skills and orienteering. Need a rest after all that? Chill out with our family-friendly yoga sessions.

Find the Flock by hunting down the three decorated sculptures of Shaun in the garden and meet him ‘in the fleece’ to get a cheeky selfie. 

Garden admission applies. Free to RHS members and children under 5.

Come and join Shaun on his adventure though the garden as he learns what is needed to grow the best fruit and veg to keep him and his friends in tip top condition.

Hide and Sheep

Find Shaun by searching for him with friends and family in the ‘Hide and Sheep’ zone and use Aardman’s free interactive, augmented reality app to bring Shaun to life in 3D, pose for a photo opportunity and complete the stamp collection. See how to download Aardman’s augmented reality app below.

Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep Hide and Sheep A.R. Trail app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play or alternatively, scan the QR code at the garden. Explore the garden with the Garden Detectives, on a themed stroll with many adventures.

Relax and chill out with our family yoga activity.

Planting workshop

Family fun every Friday

Outdoor bubble show

Take part in The Giant Bubble Show with Paris Bubbles this summer. This is an interactive display of giant bubbles, long bubble tubes and waves of bubbles that will float over the children’s heads to chase and pop.
Suitable for age 3+

Circus skills with Circus Sensible

Friday 9 August
11am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3pm
Including 30 minute demos and drop-in workshops. Learn to juggle, practise some tricks and test your balance with beginners stilts plus lots more.
Suitable for age 3+

Claystation drop in sessions

Get creative and make your own clay characters to take home.

Claro orienteering​​
