Visit the library at RHS Garden Harlow Carr and take the opportunity to see our stunning  seasonal embroidery of the garden in its summer colours.  Created for us by the Richmond & Leyburn Creative Stitchers, this scene shows the very best of perennial planting in the Main Borders in high summer.

To create this beautifully embroidered scene, a photograph was taken capturing the beauty of the Main Borders which was then cut up into 48 squares. These were shared out amongst the embroiderers to interpret in their own individual way.  The finished pieces were then put together like a jigsaw to create the  whole picture in embroidery form.
