A Beekeeping Taster Day provides the perfect opportunity to discover what is involved in keeping bees. Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers’ Association will be back at RHS Garden Harlow Carr for a day of the tips and tricks of beekeeping . 

Topics include:
  • Starting up
  • Where to keep bees
  • Equipment
  • Potential costs
You also have the chance to visit the teaching apiary and enjoy ‘up-close-and-personal’ encounters with real bees – weather permitting.

Tutor:  Harrogate and Ripon Beekeeping Association

Please note: This course is unsuitable if you have a known allergy to bee venom
