Crack the egg-nigma code on our giant Easter egg hunt

Get ready for even more egg-citement on the giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Rosemoor. This year, children have a special quest to solve* as they search for brightly coloured eggs hidden in the garden. Plus, you can enjoy welly walks, face painting, arts and crafts workshops, and the enchanting Guess How Much I Love You™ trail.

Book garden entry online and save; free to RHS members and children under 5. Children aged 5–16 just £5.

*A £2.50 charge applies per child for a code-breaker pack and chocolate Easter egg – pre-order online to save time at the door.

Find the eggs, solve the mystery

Saturday 5 – Monday 21 April 2025

Pick up your code-breaker pack* on arrival to take part in the challenge and crack the ‘egg-nigma’ code. Each giant egg you discover holds a symbol. Translate each symbol and combine with the clues from other eggs to solve the puzzle. Those who crack the code will get a yummy chocolate Easter egg for finding the solution!

Guess How Much I Love You™ garden adventure trail

Saturday 5 – Monday 21 April 2025

Explore the interactive Guess How Much I Love You™ garden trail, which brings to life the adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare and is inspired by the much-loved children’s story from Walker Books. Families can bounce, hop and stretch while discovering a kaleidoscope of colours, textures and shapes found in nature.

Chocolate-scented slime workshop

Monday 7 April 2025
Free, every 30 minutes 11am – 3pm, Garden Room

Try your hand at making your very own chocolate-scented slime with Devon Science. Please note, slime is not edible.

Suitable for all ages (must be accompanied by an adult). Please book online to avoid disappointment.

Flying with Strings Puppet Show

Thursday 17 April 2025
Free, 30-minute sessions at 11am, 12noon and 2pm


​Enjoy a beautiful display of bird puppetry, accompanied by acoustic guitar. Inspired by the avian world of Britain, Europe and beyond, this interactive show features intricate string puppetry and live music. See the puppets in action and learn all about the world of birds.

Meet the Easter Bunny

Explore the garden during the Easter weekend for the chance to meet the Easter Bunny in person. A fun experience for all the family.
