Exploring Rosemoor

Our maps and trails highlight seasonal interest for visitors, young and old

Maps and Trails
We have a range of maps and trails available all year to engage our visitors whatever your age or interest. Please find our current list below, all of which are available at the garden entrance and are included in normal garden admission.

Seasonal Garden Map (12 year-olds+)
Each season we update our main garden map with a trail, which follows seasonal highlights and explains the planting schemes used to create certain effects. Many of the plants are available to purchase in the plant centre so you can recreate a little bit of Rosemoor at home.

Explore the hidden world of lichens

Lichens are all around us, but most people know almost nothing about them. This trail takes you on a journey where you’ll learn what lichens are, and how they can tell us about air pollution, British rainforests, local biodiversity, and more.

Whether you want to discover more about the lichens in your garden or if you’ve never even heard the word lichen before, this trail is for you.

Download the audio tour app, then search and download ‘RHS Rosemoor Lichen Trail,’ so you can listen offline, while exploring the garden.

As an alternative to taking an audio tour using the IZI app, download our trail map to find each point of interest.
