Walking and cyling routes

RHS Rosemoor is approximately two miles from the Tarka Trail, one of the country’s longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths, linking the North Devon coast to Okehampton. See the trail map detailing the most off-road route, which utilises the old river path and does not have a finished road surface.

Open-air bike parking facilities are provided. Plan your bike journey to RHS Rosemoor on Cycle Streets’ Journey Planner.

Please note: Access to RHS Rosemoor is via the A3124, which is a busy road without footpaths. This route should only be attempted by confident cyclists and is not recommended for families.

Getting here by car

RHS Rosemoor is signposted at Great Torrington and is situated 1 mile south on the A3124 road, which heads towards Exeter. Car parking is free, but please note it is not shaded.
