Join Adela for a relaxed workshop where you will decorate your very own mosaic mirror to display in your garden all year round. There will be designs available for inspiration or create your own garden themed mirror using your favourite flowers and wildlife. No prior mosaicking experience is necessary. You will be taught how to safely cut vitreous tiles and have a vast array of glass tiles to choose from. There will also be plenty of pre-cut glass and Adela will be on hand to help guide, cut and shape tiles for you.

You may not be able to grout your mosaic on the day due to the adhesive needing to dry. However, you will be given a grouting demonstration and grout to take home.

The finished product will look stunning placed in a window or outdoors and will come with a string of lights to place inside the block to illuminate your creation.

Adela has been teaching and making mosaics professionally from her studio in North Devon since 2016. She has sold mosaics internationally and regularly exhibits with The South West Mosaic Artists. Adela enjoys introducing and inspiring others to the wonderful meditative methods of mosaicing, gathering inspiration from nature and loves reusing old china as well as glass tiles in her work. Adela works in a variety of styles, sizes and on various substrates, sometimes three dimensional, and often using long lasting materials that are suited for the outdoors.
