Victoriana is a modern take on a Victorian garden, set in the courtyard of a newly renovated home. It is designed for a young couple who wish to respect the architecture of the home they have inherited, but eager to make their stamp.
The overriding theme of the Victorian era was man’s triumph over nature. Plants are set out in blocks as if in a bedding scheme, but are chosen for texture rather than colour. Modern materials blend with brick reclaimed from their home during the renovation.
