Explore the new Wisley

The Welcome building and surrounding landscape has transformed the entrance to Wisley, putting design, plants and horticulture at the forefront for visitors to enjoy.

This first phase of Wisley’s transformation features a beautiful, spacious and airy arrivals hall with a 100-seater table-service restaurant, café and shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Hundreds of beautiful artisan products and books combine to create the perfect place to browse, shop or meet friends.

The buildings are grouped around an open-air ‘village square’ adjacent to Seven Acres, with plenty of space to relax and provide a focal point for events at the garden.

Everything needed to get growing

The indoor and outdoor Garden Centre has been expanded to perfectly meet the needs of gardeners who have just started growing, as well as those who have been growing for years. Top quality plants will be available, for indoors or outside, for home or business. We'll keep our A-Z plant layout, but will also focus on plants for specific places, such as plants for shade or drought-resistant plants, to make it easier for shoppers.

The work of UK growers and specialist nurseries will be promoted with special displays featuring plants such as acers, peonies, ferns and hostas. Seasonal events will also be held in the outdoor Garden Centre and our team will be on hand to help when needed.

Should you get carried away with your shopping, we offer a collect by car service for your convenience.

Green Wisley – better for people, better for the planet
