Enjoy a special visit to RHS Garden Bridgewater with your canine companion for a relaxing stroll around the garden on select days

Bring your dog to RHS Bridgewater for our special Walkies evenings. Enjoy a stroll around the gardens as we open up the grounds to you and your canine companions. It’s the perfect time to explore the horticultural delights of the season with your four-legged friend.

When is Walkies at RHS Bridgewater?

  • Tuesday 1 April: 4pm–7pm (last entry 6pm)
  • Saturday 3 May: 4pm–7pm (last entry 6pm)
  • Tuesday 20 May: 4pm–7pm (last entry 6pm)
  • Tuesday 10 June: 4pm–7pm (last entry 6pm)
  • Saturday 28 June: 4pm–7pm (last entry 6pm)

‘Paws’ for thought

Please keep the following in mind for Walkies events:

  • Two dogs are permitted per person – for Walkies events only. Dogs are not allowed in the garden at other times, except for assistance dogs
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and should not be allowed to enter any waterbodies on site
  • Dogs are not allowed in the children’s play areas
  • Please pick up after your dogs and place in the bins provided. Additional biodegradable waste bags are available at Visitor Services if required

Food and drink

​Refreshments are available from the Bridgewater Café and Stables Café. Please see onsite information for opening hours and food and drinks available.

Dogs are welcome throughout the Welcome Building during Walkies events only, including in the Café and Garden Centre. The Garden Centre is open until the garden closes.
