APL’s A Place to Meet Again focuses on upcycling and repurposing materials in order to reduce landfill and challenge innovation. Upcycling furniture has become a trend, but what can be upcycled in a garden? Scaffold boards are repurposed as a board walk, gin bar and pergola. Large concrete water ducts have been put to creative reuse both as seating and water features. Our aim is to show that a lot can be achieved with little. The planting in tones of green and white is readily available at local garden centres.
