The Harrogate Arms Café opening times
Open daily 9.30am – 5.30pm (last orders 5pm)
Located near the Kitchen Garden, discover the new Harrogate Arms Café. Serving a fresh, seasonal menu inspired by produce grown in the Kitchen Garden. Access is through the main garden entrance.
Bettys opening times
Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms: Open daily for indoor dining 9am – 4.30pm
Bettys Shop: Open daily for takeaway 9am – 4.30pm
Bettys Tea House: Open daily for takeaway 9.30am – 3pm (4pm from 31 March)
Bettys Shop and Tea Rooms are located next to the garden entrance and Bettys Tea House is located inside the garden.
Garden Centre
RHS Harlow Carr Garden Centre
Pop in and browse curated collections of houseplants, unique plants and shrubs, gardening tools and accessories, and our eclectic selection of gifts and homewares. The Garden Centre is free to enter and open to the public.

Dogs in the garden
Only guide, assistance or service dogs, including assistance dogs in training are welcome in the garden.We also strongly advise that you do not bring your pet on hot days as there is little to no shade in our car parks.

We are sorry but garden toys, such as scooters and balls, are not permitted in the garden.Garden seating
There are approximately 200 benches sited around the garden at regular intervals. These are of varying height with most offering arm rests.Smoking policy
We operate a no-smoking policy, inclusive of e-cigarettes, in or near certain areas of the garden, including dining or food outlets, eating areas, terraces, picnic areas, covered spaces, buildings and children’s play areas. This may extend to other areas of the garden in periods of dry weather.

- Sometimes the tracks and paths can be muddy, steep and uneven – please wear suitable footwear and take care

Drone usage
Personal drone usage is prohibited in the garden. Commercial drone usage is prohibited, except occasionally by commercial drone operators with suitable training and licences from the Civil Aviation Authority when permission has been provided to the drone operator in writing by the Head of RHS Garden Harlow Carr.Love gardening
