Join the fun and frolics with Shaun this summer as he learns top tips about how to grow scrumptious fresh food from the garden to keep him in great condition

Discover what it takes to grow your own fresh ingredients with Shaun here at RHS Garden Bridgewater this summer - there’s never a dull moment. Enjoy a mini-musical adventure and interactive storytelling, go on a welly walk for little explorers, and have a go at making your own Shaun model at a claystation drop in session.

Find the Flock by hunting down the three decorated sculptures of Shaun in the garden.

Garden admission applies. Free to RHS members and children under 5.

Family trail

Come and join Shaun on his adventure though the garden as he learns what is needed to grow the best fruit and veg to keep him and his friends in tip top condition.

Hide and Sheep

Find Shaun by searching for him with friends and family in the ‘Hide and Sheep’ zone and use Aardman’s free interactive, augmented reality app to bring Shaun to life in 3D, pose for a photo opportunity and complete the stamp collection. See how to download Aardman’s augmented reality app below.

Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep Hide and Sheep A.R. Trail app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play or alternatively, scan the QR code at the garden. Space Chickens

Earth’s unlikely hero: an adventurous chicken who is blasted into space to solve all our planet’s problems. Sounds ridiculous? Not for our heroic hen who will boldly go where no poultry has gone before... With stunning puppetry and original live banjo synth music, follow this rocketfuelled tale all on top of a van. Join us for an intergalactic adventure, from the hen house to the milky way.

Space Chickens is our brand new Puppet Van launching spring 2024! This is a madcap adventure following a chicken who is sent to space, with environmental themes and about the joy of growing things.

Colour the Clouds Storytelling: The Great Bridgewater Adventure

Join Colour the Clouds this summer for an RHS Bridgewater Garden adventure. Shaun and his friends are visiting RHS Bridgewater over the summer to learn how to create his very own veg patch back at Mossy Bottom farm, but after a long day in the kitchen garden, when everyone has gone home Shaun and his pals like to explore the rest of the garden… and that’s when the real adventure begins.

Recommended for ages 3 -6 (older and younger siblings welcome)

RHS Bridgewater’s Walk About Garden

Sunday 21 and 28 July, Thursday 1, Friday 16, Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 August and Sunday 1 September
11am, 12noon 1.30pm and 2.30pm, in the garden


Bobby loves to garden. She loves to plant seeds and watch them grow. More than anything, she loves to share her garden and to show everyone they can plant a garden too (with a song or two thrown in for good measure!)

With her wheelbarrow, seedlings, plants and ukulele, Bobby will delight children with her gentle interactive walkabout theatre, chatting to families, sharing her gardening songs, and explaining how her plants grow, from the tiniest seeds to the most beautiful flowers.

Garden Adventures

This summer, little adventurers can go on a special RHS Bridgewater garden adventure, where we find out what Shaun has been up to in the garden this summer.

Circus Raj

Rajasthan is home to the elite street circus performers from this fascinating region’s legendary entertainment communities, who combine their amazing skills. The cast of aerialists, acrobats, musicians, slack-rope walkers, giant puppets characters and the eye-watering displays by their fakir, present a colourful, vibrant, fast-moving extravaganza of intrigue, drama, feats of daring, music, laughter and surprise.
