Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare are hopping over to RHS Garden Bridgewater in 2025. Starting in February half term, and lasting all year, enjoy discovering an interactive garden trail and activities based on the well-loved children’s book Guess How Much I Love You™.

With craft, planting and dance workshops too, there’s plenty to keep the whole family busy this holiday.

Garden admission applies; free to RHS members and children under 5. Children aged 5–16 only £5 entry. Additional charges apply to activities marked *.

Guess How Much I Love You™ – A Garden Adventure

Daily, from Saturday 15 February until the end of 2025

Starting on Saturday 15 February and continuing all year, explore the Guess How Much I Love You™ – A Garden Adventure trail following Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare around the garden. Bounce, hop and stretch like Little Nutbrown Hare, investigate colours, textures and shapes found in the garden, and learn about nature, growing and the changing seasons.

Bringing the beautiful story and illustrations to our gardens, the RHS have partnered with Walker Books for the 30th anniversary celebration of Guess How Much I Love You™ by Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram.

Monday 17 February
45-minute sessions at 11am, 12.15pm and 1.30pm


Join us for a garden adventure perfect for your little explorers and hear the story of Guess How Much I Love You™ as you walk through the garden.

*£2.50 per child. Recommended for ages 2–6 (must be accompanied by an adult)

Cup of soup – carrot and coriander planting

Tuesday 18 February
Drop-in between 11am – 2.30pm, Learning Studio


Head to the Learning Studio and sow your own carrot and coriander ‘cup of soup.’

Colour the Clouds storytelling

Wednesday 19 February
30-minute sessions at 11am, 12noon, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, Learning Studio

Join Colour the Clouds for a wonderful interactive storytelling of Guess How Much I Love You™.

Recommended for ages 2–6 (must be accompanied by an adult)

Dance workshop*

Thursday 20 February
30-minute sessions at 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, Learning Studio

Hop around like Little Nutbrown Hare in dance workshops inspired by the story of Guess How Much I Love You™.

Spring Hare Model Making*

Friday 21 February
30-minute sessions at 11am, 11.30am, 12noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm and 2pm, Learning Studio


Make your own clay hare to take home and love right up to the moon and back!

Ramadan: story, henna and craft

Sunday 23 February, Learning Studio

Henna and craft – drop in between 11.30am – 2.30pm
Have your hand painted with henna and make your own moon and stars mobile. There may be a queue at busy times.

Suitable for all ages (must be accompanied by an adult)

Kids visit RHS Gardens for £5 or less!

We’ve reduced the cost of garden entry for kids aged 5 to 16 years to just £5, and under 5s go for free. Adults can also save up to 25% on garden entry when booking tickets online in advance.
