Crack the egg-nigma code on our giant Easter egg hunt

The giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Bridgewater is more egg-citing than ever! This year, children have a special quest to solve* as they look for brightly coloured eggs hidden in the garden. You can also enjoy storytelling, planting and craft workshops and the magical Guess How Much I Love You™ garden adventure trail.

Book garden entry online and save; free to RHS members and children under 5. Children aged 5–16 just £5.

*A £2.50 charge applies per child for a code-breaker pack and chocolate Easter egg – pre-order online to save time at the door.

Turn detective, solve the puzzle

Monday 7 – Sunday 27 April 2025

Pick up your code-breaker pack* at the entrance to take part in the challenge and crack the ‘egg-nigma’ code. Each giant egg you find will reveal a symbol. Decipher the symbols and combine with clues from the other eggs to solve the mystery. Clever code crackers get a yummy chocolate Easter egg for finding the solution!

Guess How Much I Love You™ garden adventure trail

Monday 7 – Sunday 27 April 2025

Explore the interactive Guess How Much I Love You™ garden trail, which brings to life the adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare and is inspired by the much-loved children’s story from Walker Books. Families can bounce, hop and stretch while discovering a kaleidoscope of colours, textures and shapes found in nature.

Curious Investigators

Thursday 17 April
Performances at 11am and 2pm, with stay and play after.

Sign up on the day, first come, first served.

Scribble and Clipboard have a job to do – sort the recycling. But Scribble keeps finding new things to investigate. What will she discover on the way? Inventive, engaging and tons of fun, Curious Investigators is a cracking adventure for 3–7 year-olds and their grown-ups.

Giant bubble show

Friday 18 and Saturday 19 April
11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, in the garden


Step into a world of wonder with the Giant Bubble Show by Paris Bubbles and enjoy an interactive display of bubbles floating through the air for children to chase and pop.
