The Yangzhou Scholars' Garden is a uniquely authentic Chinese garden experience where visitors can discover beauty, tranquillity and unexpected perspectives around every corner. Created in partnership with Yangzhou City, the China Flower Association and Manchester's Chinese community, it's a place unlike anywhere else in the UK. A destination that's not just worth seeing, but worth experiencing.

Over Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September to celebrate the opening of the Yangzhou Scholars' Garden there will be a programme family-friendly activities celebrating the culture, traditions and symbolism that have inspired its design. Visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy experiences including storytelling, traditional Chinese music, lion dance performances and workshops, calligraphy demonstrations, chess, guided tours in Mandarin and Cantonese, and beautiful chrysanthemum displays.
