Every week National Lottery players raise over £30 million for good causes, and have helped fund charitable projects at the RHS. That’s why we’re pleased to be taking part in National Lottery Open Week 2025, which celebrates the contribution of National Lottery players in supporting deserving causes over the past 30 years.

To say thank you for your support, we’re offering National Lottery players £1 tickets to all our RHS Gardens from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 March. There’s no need to book in advance, just grab your National Lottery ticket and head to the garden.

Anyone who presents a National Lottery ticket (digital or physical), scratchcard or Instant Win Game when visiting an RHS Garden between 15 and 23 March can take up this special offer of £1 admission per person for up to 4 people. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful gardens – RHS Bridgewater in Greater Manchester, RHS Harlow Carr in Yorkshire, RHS Hyde Hall in Essex, RHS Rosemoor in Devon and RHS Wisley in Surrey.

Inspiring people to grow

Thanks to support from National Lottery players and The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’ve been able to make our RHS Gardens more accessible to a wider range of visitors, provide free gardening activities and events in local communities and support people of all ages on their lifelong adventure with gardening. The restoration of the historic laboratory at RHS Wisley and the creation of a centre for horticultural science and learning was made possible with a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

  • RHS Gardens [RHS Bridgewater, RHS Harlow Carr, RHS Hyde Hall, RHS Rosemoor, RHS Wisley] will be taking part in National Lottery Open Week with a special offer of £1 admission per person for up to 4 people on presentation of a valid National Lottery ticket, scratchcard or Instant Win Game
  • This offer will run from Saturday 15 – Sunday 23 March
  • Booking in advance is not required
  • One National Lottery ticket (physical or digital), scratchcard, or Instant Win Game will give access to up to 4 people
  • All National Lottery games, including National Lottery draw-based games, Instant Win Games, and National Lottery scratchcards, purchased in-store and online or via app, qualify to redeem this offer
  • Proof of purchase of a National Lottery game can be either a hard copy ticket or digital
  • The date of the draw or date of purchase is not relevant
  • All offers are subject to availability
  • RHS Gardens have the right to refuse entry in the event of the venue or offer reaching capacity, as well as unforeseen circumstances
  • In the event of queries on the day, the organisation’s decision is final
  • This offer is not exchangeable

£1 tickets all year round

The RHS is the UK’s largest gardening charity, and we want to share the joy of gardening with as many people as possible. Did you know, if you receive any of the following income support benefits, you can visit RHS Gardens for just £1 per visit all year round?
 
You can book £1 tickets for yourself and up to five people coming with you. This can be a mixture of children and adults. Only one member of the party needs to be receiving benefits, and you will need to present proof of your income support on arrival at the garden. Pre-booking is required.
