In this creative health and wellbeing workshop at RHS Garden Bridgewater, you’ll use mindful photography as a tool for gentle exercise, slowing down and taking notice.

In the first half of the session you’ll learn how the camera phone in your pocket can help you find new perspectives on familiar places, catching sight of beauty in nature. Your tutor will lead a guided mindful photography walk/wheel around the site, introducing mindful photography techniques you can replicate at home. In the second half you’ll learn how to create botanical lumen solar photograms, a mindful way of creating beautiful images without using a camera! All materials will be provided.
  • This workshop will take place partially outdoors and is fully inclusive and accessible
  • The session is aimed at visitors with no or little photography experience
  • Tea and coffee will be available during the workshop
Tutor: Marge Bradshaw, local professional photographer
