Celebrating 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl, the world’s Number 1 storyteller, Tatton Park is hosting a gloriumptious programme of events and experiences for all to enjoy. A highlight of the celebration is Tatton’s RHS Show Garden this year crafted around Roald Dahl’s tale of the BFG and Dream Country. This magical place is where the Big Friendly Giant takes 10-year-old orphan Sophie in which he catches good dreams to blow in to the bedrooms of sleeping children. The gardeners’ interpretation of Dream Country is a pre-historic place before the giants spoilt the world. The garden team have created a primordial garden to imagine a world gone back in time – a damp misty place of mosses and ferns and dreams.
