The Longcroft Press

The Longcroft Press is inspired by the village apple pressing days held at the designer’s family’s orchard. It encapsulates the neighbourly spirit and charm of the Forest of Dean as well as the very best produce that the area has to offer. In the past few years, the value of family, community and home has become ever-more apparent and that is celebrated here.

This garden incorporates mature fruit trees in front of a pressing shed complete with a antique apple press and scratter. Surrounding the trees is a carpet of native wildflowers, highlighting the beauty of what nature has to offer. The roof is covered in a mix of sedum cultivars planted with native ground-covering plants and blending into the backdrop of the Malvern Hills.
