TASK Garden

TASK is a new Training Academy launched in 2022 that provides a broad range of landscaping and land-based courses for horticultural businesses and individuals.

At Malvern, TASK is working with a team of apprentices and experienced landscapers to deliver three garden demonstration features, which detail the hard landscaping that is included in the festival’s three Affordable Gardens.

Generally 80% of the cost in building a garden is hidden underground, so TASK Academy is offering industry-standard professional guidance on explaining the preparation required for different construction methods. These include the ‘dos and don’ts’ of basic landscaping practice and materials including concrete, natural and porcelain paving, decking, bricks and blocks.
