Crack the egg-nigma code on our giant Easter egg hunt

The giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Wisley has an egg-citing new twist! This year, children can purchase a special code-breaker pack* with a quest to solve as they search for brightly coloured eggs hidden in the garden. Plus, enjoy storytelling and planting and craft workshops.

Book garden entry online and save; free to RHS members and children under 5. Children aged 5–16 just £5.

*A £2.50 charge applies per child for a code-breaker pack and chocolate treat – pre-order online to save time at the door.

Turn detective, solve the puzzle

Saturday 5 – Monday 21 April 2025

Pick up your code-breaker packs* on arrival to take part in the quest and crack the ‘egg-nigma’ code. Each giant egg you find will reveal a symbol. Translate the symbols and combine with clues from the other eggs to solve the puzzle. Cunning code crackers get a yummy chocolate treat for solving the challenge!

Operation ‘I Spy’

45-minute bookable sessions at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm, meet at the Clore Learning Centre

Your mission – should you choose to accept it – is to join our Education Officer on Operation ‘I Spy’ and learn more about the secret powers of plants and the fungal espionage network we are walking on every day!

Easter storytime

Join author and early years expert Giovanna Gentile for a fun, interactive reading of Egg – a heartwarming tale about a little robin finding its way after a tumble from the nest.

Perfect for children aged 3–5 years, this 45-minute session will spark imaginations and even includes a playful snail hunt.
