Bgen is excited to welcome you to its first face-to-face conference, Botanical Gardens Education: Past, Present & Future, since the pandemic, taking place at RHS Garden Wisley. Join us as we kick start 2023 with this fantastic event to provide inspiration for the year ahead.

The 2023 conference aims to launch a new era in botanic garden education. By reflecting on lessons learned from the past – from colonisation to Covid adaptations – let’s start planning for a positive future where we play an integral part in changing behaviour and addressing the twin emergencies of biodiversity loss and the climate emergency.

Tickets are available to purchase directly from the Bgen website, where travel and accommodation advice and further information on the conference can also be found.

Please note: Bgen is a third party. When booking online, you are leaving the RHS website and will be governed by both RHS and Bgen’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Bgen is grateful to have received funding from The Finnis Scott Foundation to enable delegates from outside of the south east of England to attend as well as students and those who are currently unemployed. Full details on how to obtain these subsidised tickets and criteria are on the Bgen events page. These are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you have any queries about the conference, please do not hesitate to contact the Bgen conference co-ordinator Sophie Edwards [email protected]
