Explore the British Iris Society (BIS) summer show at RHS Garden Wisley, with a wide variety of summer iris in flower as well as wonderful displays, plant sales and a chat with friendly experts for help and advice.

Highlights of the day: 

  • BIS Artist in residence Sheryl Pape, a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) is demonstrating and displaying her art
  • Art displays from Fern Harden and Chris Towers and historical art displays including William Caparne and Paul Furse
  • Lovely and unusual iris for sale from Woottens of Wenhaston and Chailey Iris Garden
  • Handmade Iris-themed gifts and information

Talks and demos:

  • 11am – Demonstration: Flower arranging with iris
  • 2pm – Talk: How to create and name a new iris – the stages
