An introduction to medicinal herbs. RHS Garden Wisley and the natural world around us is filled with beautiful plants and many of them have medicinal properties. The culinary herbs you may already grow in your garden have healing actions too. We’ll explore the herbs further, to find out about their beneficial actions and how to make remedies for digestive health.

Course includes:
  • Introduction to herbal medicine: The plants, the remedies, harvesting herbs and the many ways to apply them
  • Herbs you may already grow for culinary purposes, plus a few others; find out how to use them to help improve the health of our digestive system
  • How to make a herbal tincture. Find out about herbal tinctures and how they can improve digestive function
  • Herbal tea tasting and blending your own herbal infusions for digestive health
Tea and coffee will be provided.
