Evening includes: One hour tour and talk from a member of our experienced garden team, a welcome drink, canapés, dinner and a glass of wine or craft beer with your meal.

Friday 5 April – Cherry blossom at RHS Wisley

The Welcome Landscape comes alive in spring, where over 150 cherry trees burst into blossom simultaneously – a real spectacle to behold. The menu is a nod to the Japanese origins of flowering cherries, which can be found around the garden in different habits, colours and flowering times.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 26 April – Spring at RHS Wisley

RHS Wisley started as a woodland garden called Oakwood in the late nineteenth century, and still exists today in the heart of the garden. It comes to the fore in spring, and you can enjoy a guided walk around this historic area, and the equally beautiful Battleston Hill, seeing them both in their spring glory, adorned with magnolias, rhododendrons, late flowering camellias and many other delights.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 17 May – All about roses

A rose-inspired menu will be the perfect end for an evening spent exploring the rose garden in full bloom, which features mass plantings of roses, intermingled with clematis, herbaceous plants and flowering Chinese dogwood trees (Cornus kousa var. chinensis). The garden walk will also explore areas that showcase roses trained on arches, walls and even growing freely through trees.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 28 June – Summer in the Pinetum and Howard’s Field

Howard’s Field and the adjacent Pinetum are some of the oldest parts of RHS Wisley, and are home to some of the garden’s most magnificent trees, including the tallest tree in the garden (a redwood at 39m). The landscape opens into Howard’s Field, where you can see the National Collection of heathers, and the ornamental grass borders. Meet some magnificent trees and experience a menu with pinesmoked food to finish the night on a coniferous note.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 26 July – Explore and eat the World Food Garden

2024 will see the World Food Garden at RHS Wisley head into its third summer. Stroll through the herbs and edible flowers, see the wall-trained fruits, discover old favourites alongside newer, experimental exotic crops and hear how the new garden has settled into its place on the Hillltop. Managed in a ‘no-dig’ and spray-free approach since its creation, the garden will contribute to the night’s menu.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 30 August – Palm trees and Pina Coladas

RHS Wisley is often recorded as being a summer hotspot, with its weather station recording some of the hottest temperatures in the country. These temperatures, coupled with the team’s love of exotics, has enabled the Exotic Garden to flourish in recent years, so take a deep dive into the palm trees and bananas and hear how such a garden is created, cared for through the winter, and how many of the plants are hardier than you’d perhaps imagine.

Cost: £85 per person

Friday 27 September – RHS Wisley’s sustainable autumn harvest

Enjoy an evening dedicated to the world of edible growing as you explore our World Food Garden, Orchard, Vineyard, and Fruit Garden. Our team of experts will guide you on a journey of sustainable food production, showcasing how we switched off additional irrigation and non-natural sprays in our Orchard. Our edible landscape is flourishing, and we are proud to demonstrate how sustainable food production can be achieved without harming our environment, especially in the face of climate change.

Cost: £85 per person
