Join the fun and frolics with Shaun this summer as he learns top tips about how to grow scrumptious fresh food from the garden to keep him in great condition

Join Shaun on his journey of adventure as he learns all about fruit and veg growing at RHS Garden Hyde Hall this summer holiday. Make your own Shaun clay model at our Claystation sessions, get your face painted and enjoy storytelling adventures around the garden. Don’t miss The Giant Bubble Show!

Find the Flock by hunting down the three decorated sculptures of Shaun in the garden and meet him ‘in the fleece’ to get a cheeky selfie.   

Garden admission applies. Free to RHS members and children under 5.

Family trail

Daily, Saturday 20 July – Sunday 1 September
10am – 6pm, self-led trail

Come and join Shaun on his adventure though the garden as he learns what is needed to grow the best fruit and veg to keep him and his friends in tip top condition.

Hide and Sheep

Daily, Saturday 20 July – Sunday 1 September
10am – 6pm, around the garden

Find Shaun by searching for him with friends and family in the ‘Hide and Sheep’ zone and use Aardman’s free interactive, augmented reality app to bring Shaun to life in 3D, pose for a photo opportunity and complete the stamp collection. See how to download Aardman’s augmented reality app below.

Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep Hide and Sheep A.R. Trail app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play or alternatively, scan the QR code at the garden. Once downloaded, enter the RHS Hyde Hall location code 1993 and follow the markers at the garden to interact with Shaun in augmented reality.

Planting workshop*

Sow lambs lettuce and learn how to take care of your seeds to help them grow when you take them home.

Face painting*

Trudles Doodles face painting is back by popular demand this summer. Choose from a range of characters and designs to transform your face.

Storytelling adventures

Set out on an interactive storytelling adventure around the garden with extraordinary storyteller Mike Dodsworth.

Outdoor Bubble Show with Paris Bubbles

Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 August
10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm

Take part in The Giant Bubble Show with Paris Bubbles this Summer. This is an interactive display of giant bubbles, long bubble tubes and waves of bubbles that will float over the children’s heads to chase and pop.
 
All ages (must be accompanied by an adult)
