Kindness request

At the RHS, we’re proud to offer you a warm welcome and great service. In return, we kindly ask all customers to treat our team members with kindness and respect. Anybody behaving in an aggressive or inappropriate manner will be asked to leave. Thank you for your understanding.

Dogs in the garden

All guide, assistance or service dogs, including assistance dogs in training are welcome at the garden.

Please note: No pets allowed anywhere on site, including the car park and RHS Hyde Hall estate.

Garden toys

We are sorry but garden toys, such as scooters, bikes and balls, are not permitted in the garden.

Smoking policy

We operate a no-smoking policy, inclusive of e-cigarettes, in or near certain areas of the garden, including dining or food outlets, eating areas, terraces, picnic areas, covered spaces, buildings and children’s play areas. This may extend to other areas of the garden in periods of dry weather.

Drone usage

Personal drone usage is prohibited in the garden. Commercial drone usage is prohibited, except occasionally by commercial drone operators with suitable training and licences from the Civil Aviation Authority when permission has been provided to the drone operator in writing by the Head of RHS Garden Hyde Hall.
