RHS Money-Saving Garden

The Money Saving Garden shows how to grow plants for free, save money gardening, and create a beautiful space on a limited budget, while also demonstrating how nurturing plants is good for your health and wellbeing, and the planet.

From propagation techniques – such as taking cuttings and seed sowing – to repurposing paving slabs and making your own plant supports, there are myriad ways to make a gorgeous garden, without it costing the earth, all of which are on display here.

At the heart of this garden are deep herbaceous borders, full of summer colour and visual interest, with plenty of containers and propagating stations dotted around, too. The designers hope to inspire visitors to reimagine what is possible in their own spaces, and to dream big without spending a fortune.
