The Landform Mental Wealth Garden

The garden aims to promote the feeling of wellbeing by using scent and beautiful planting to lift the spirits. Its design is structurally inspired by the parterre, with a mixture of planting influenced by aromatic and pollinator-friendly ornamentals.

A colour palette of uplifting yellows, subtle pinks and calming blues, lilacs, and white combine to form a cohesive planting scheme. Evergreen herbs are shaped as semi-structural hedges to add structure to the garden, along with three beautiful ornamental trees.

The central water feature is made from weathered mild steel, evocative of the seasonal changes in nature. A woven willow pattern is repeated in the natural panels of the garden’s boundaries and the metal screens of the raised planters.

The pleasure gained from just sitting and relaxing is at the heart of this design and there is also an area to experiment with herbal remedies and tinctures, and perhaps sip a cup of peppermint or chamomile tea, using herbs freshly picked from the garden.
