About the garden
Designed for a client who works from home, this is a garden created with relaxation, entertaining and outdoor dining in mind. It includes an outdoor kitchen and space for six to dine comfortably. At the back of the garden a bespoke perola provides a cosy space in which to sit as well as a work area. Low-maintenance materials have been selected to make light work of garden upkeep. Porcelain paving requires minimal upkeep and looks stunning. Likewise porcelain wall cladding offers a low-maintenance yet high impact material choice.
Planting throughout the garden is vibrant providing a contrast to the more muted colour palette of the landscaping materials. Key plants include the two specimen seven son flower trees (Heptacodium miconoides) as well as a mixture of shrub and perennial borders that peak during the summer. Hornbeam lines the perimeter.
