Did you know...
- Pillars of fragrant jasmine, sultry salvias and inky agapanthus add depth and scent
- Tender plants such as lemons and cycads sit among well-known hardy favourites including box, ivies and hydrangeas
- Alstroemerias, tagetes and daylilies give dashes of colour
About the Garden
Taking its inspiration from Charleston’s renowned hidden gardens, this garden is designed to capture the spirit, charm and elegance of Charleston, offering a sense of its history, sub-tropical climate and atmosphere. The centrepiece is a scaled-down replica of Charleston’s famous pineapple water feature – a symbol of welcome. It is delineated by symmetrically-placed Liriope muscari. Topiary boxwood balls draw the eye towards the water feature. A pair of lemon trees frame the entrance to the garden.
