The garden belongs to a young Crohn’s sufferer and keen gardener. It tells the story of how vital and vibrant a young person’s life can be despite having to live with this debilitating disease.
The garden is located in a warm city microclimate and shows how rare but hardy exotic plants can be planted alongside more familiar UK garden plants. A pool and misters reflect the importance of hydration for bowel health while a fire-pit alludes to where Crohn’s strikes and how it feels.
