Did you know...

  • The mostly white and green colour palette of the planting is soft and calm, and was designed to have a jungle-like feel with plenty of lush foliage. A few pops of orange are dotted around the space, including geums and Eremurus
  • There are two multi-stemmed trees in the garden: maple and hornbeam. They provide shade on sunny days, and allow for shade-loving plants such as hostas, ferns and Dicentra to flourish
  • The garden is dedicated to the designer's late partner, Matthew Bradley, who had helped develop the original design concept. Around the space are features created in his memory, including quotes from his favourite poem carved into the floor slabs

About the garden

Designed with a couple in mind, this garden offers a refreshing take on outdoor entertaining and dining. It embraces our contemporary summer al fresco lifestyle and brings the inside out, using the garden as an extension of the home.

The space offers a serene oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of urban living – a calming place to reflect and take time out from our busy lifestyles.

Design inspiration for this space was drawn from the gardens of Hotel Alma in Barcelona. The garden features a bespoke pergola, multifunctional bar and an entertaining space with a fire bowl, all surrounded by luscious shady planting.

In memory of Matthew Bradley.
