RHS Garden of Royal Reflection and Celebration is enclosed on three sides by hedging to create a secluded space for contemplation within the show ground. Created to celebrate His Majesty King Charles III's coronation, the design aims to instill a sense of calm and reflection about the monarchy.
The central space is a circular lawn area featuring a curved bench made from British-grown larch timber. The seat is set among light pink and white planting to reflect the tastes of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and also purple and blue planting in accordance with the King’s preferences.
The garden features several trees bringing a woodland feel to the space and includes a bronze sculpture of the King.
