A Place in the Garden is an award-winning, family-run business based in Sussex. It sells a unique collection of elegant zinc planters and decorative objects based on authentic reproductions of classic designs and fine contemporary pieces. Over the years, the company has added outdoor lighting, water features, fire pits and fine lead sculpture to create a complete catalogue of luxury garden pieces.

Embroidered floral art

Manufacturers of mini greenhouses, cold frames and cloches, designed for keen gardeners with small gardens. Mini greenhouses feature versatile shelving systems, mist watering and automatic ventilation options. Glazed in toughened safety glass and with an architectural aluminium framework, the greenhouses are designed to last many years even in exposed locations.

Adrian Gray is the pioneer of stonebalancing art. Adrian works with stone, exploring the natural world and its inherent yet seemingly magical states of balance. He creates sculptures using weathered stone, ranging in size from small tactile rocks to vast granite boulders shaped by glaciers. The stones are balanced by hand or, for the monumental sculptures, using a crane. The sculptures are fixed in their balanced position for safety and longevity, but still retain the outward appearance of being in transitory equilibrium, evoking a contradictory sense of solidity and impermanence and an attendant sense of wonder. They make dramatic, epic statements in homes, gardens and commercial spaces.

A selection of one-off machine-embroidered pictures of flowers and gardens handmade by UK textile artist Alison Holt, together with a selection of her books and printed cards based on her art. Alison's work is inspired by RHS Chelsea Flower Show and by gardens and landscapes around the UK. Her detailed textured pictures are an unusual art form found in private collections all over the world.

A plant-labelling system that includes a range of permanent copper tags, professional alitag labels designed to be indented with a punch, and pencil alitag labels designed to last for decades. There are oak, bamboo and teak labels in a large range of shapes and sizes. Alitag sell stones carved with herb names and sentiments as well as key fobs, garden signs, bamboo cloches and stone volcanic boulder pots and bowls.

Alitex is a team of designers and manufacturers of bespoke aluminium greenhouses and conservatories. The National Trust Greenhouse collection features a range of practical, low-maintenance greenhouses, with the timeless aesthetic qualities of an original heritage structure, designed to stand the test of time. Alitex products are endorsed by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The Alpine Garden Society is a plant society and registered charity dedicated to the cultivation and conservation of alpine plants. Established in 1929, it is one of the world’s largest specialist garden societies with a mission to help people discover more about alpine and other small hardy plants. It also supports the development of knowledge and skills in the alpine field.

Amanda Ross makes botanical art with a twist. Her intensely detailed and gently vibrant pieces are printed from the actual plants. A hopeless gardener, she has amassed a vast collection of preserved plants which act as raw materials as well as mementos and relics of places. With these, she conveys the essence or spirit of places and gardens, using the very things that made them. Her pieces capture a moment or season within the ever-changing natural environment – places and gardens that grow, change, die and reappear. A bespoke service allows you to 'Print Your Garden’.

A family-run company specialising in planters and garden furniture. All products are manufactured to order in the heart of the Black Country. All products are made from galvanised steell and aluminium and are powder coated in a wide range of colours, so they are completely weather-proof and easy to maintain. It offers a bespoke service, laser cutting any words or designs onto products.

Andy Small is specialises in flowers and plants. He and his wife are also passionate gardeners and their cottage garden provides much of his subject matter. Andy's photographs are available as bespoke prints on canvas, glass, aluminium and framed photographs. The last few years has seen an increase in the demand for Kitchen Glass Splash backs and Andy has been working closely with one of the UK's manufacturers of glass prints to provide this product.

The garden, set next to Anna's studio at home, has become very influential to her art in recent years. She is able to tend to the plants, cut back and deadhead flowers before going back into the studio to work with other materials. The imagery of the studio and the garden inevitably blend. The physical, transformative process of gardening is very close to the constructive and deconstructive aspects of producing her work: making and breaking, repositioning, letting things go wild, wrestling entanglements.
