The Body Shop Garden

This year’s Artisan category welcomes Beauty Botanist Jennifer Hirsch and The Body Shop with a garden designed to celebrate the global beauty brand's activist spirit and feminist roots. The garden brings this to life though both the female physical form and overarching message of female empowerment. Key design elements include a Georgia O’Keeffe inspired iris sculpture set within a water feature, topiary forms to create the recumbent feminine form and planting material selected for its traditional herbal pharmacopeia use in supporting women’s reproductive health. The garden has been created to reshape conversation on a female issue to motivate social change.
