The organisation behind The Water Saving Garden Sponsored by Affinity Water at RHS Chelsea 2024, explain their mission and aims
Affinity Water is designer Sam Proctor’s local water supplier, supplying the South East from Ealing and Berkshire in the West, to Essex and parts of Kent in the East. Two thirds of the water provided by Affinity Water comes from the same groundwater sources that supply the chalk streams that are key to the landscape and wildlife habitats of the Chilterns. There are 23 chalk streams in the Affinity Water supply region (10% of the world’s chalk streams).

The Save Our Streams campaign is designed to help customers connect their water use with protection of our precious local environment. It offers simple ways to save water and money by wasting less water through amending habits and being more aware of water use. A great deal of peak water use comes from the garden.
