The organisation supported by Room to Breathe Hospital Garden for the TSA at RHS Chelsea 2025, explain their mission and aims
The Garden is dedicated to supporting the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA), a cause close to co-designer Jen’s heart as her son, Alex, has the genetic condition. Tuberous Sclerosis affects 1 in 6000 people and can lead to developmental delay and epilepsy. The charity, though small, plays a vital role in providing treatment and support for families like Jen’s, while also funding research for future cures.

The TSA say: “As a small rare disease charity, the opportunity to be part of RHS Chelsea Flower Show is enormous and not one that we could turn down. Sponsoring a garden will provide many boosts to the Tuberous Sclerosis Association, most importantly greater recognition of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and the huge impact that the condition can have on people's lives. In addition, the garden will provide greater understanding of the work of the TSA as a whole and everything that we do for the TSC community. It will also provide us with a much-needed opportunity to increase funding for the TSA, right at the start of a new ambitious three-year strategy period for the charity, in which we're aiming to make huge leaps in support and information, research and advocacy of TSC.”
