The organisation behind The SongBird Survival Garden at RHS Chelsea 2025, explain their mission and aims
“Having a Garden at
RHS Chelsea Flower Show in our 25th anniversary year provides us with an incredible platform to showcase our work in a creative and engaging way. Through scientific research, education and awareness, SongBird Survival strives to reverse declines in the numbers of songbirds and achieve our vision of a sustainable and robust future for these beautiful birds.

“At RHS Chelsea 2025, we want to deliver a call to action for people to act to address the crisis facing songbirds by making small easy changes in their own gardens. We are aiming to sow the seeds of change that will flourish for generations to come.
“We want to increase knowledge and concern about the ecological crisis facing songbirds. The Garden itself can be part of the solution to this crisis, and we will provide inspiration and accessible solutions, through the beauty of the Garden, for people to support songbirds by creating more bird-friendly gardens.
“Educating our children is key. Our presence at RHS Chelsea 2025 provides an opportunity to shape a positive legacy for our children and grandchildren and a chance to inspire young people to become the future guardians of songbirds.
