“The Show Garden uses principles of blue mind theory, supporting human wellbeing through the ocean. The OCT’s blue mind activities help support people to use the ocean as a place of positive wellbeing, and the elements included in the garden will bring the ocean inland to drive home the benefits of blue. By incorporating interactive elements and engaging visitors, the garden seeks to inspire simple, ocean-friendly actions—such as reducing plastic use and protecting coastal environments, to support a healthy ocean. This approach supports OCT’s mission of ocean advocacy, empowering individuals and communities to protect ocean health.”
