James says: “I first became interested in plants and gardening at an early age. I would help my parents and grandparents in their gardens. Things that inspired me as a child were growing plants from seed; vegetables and flowers. A family holiday to Cornwall, when I was ten years old, really enthused me and fueled this interest. Seeing pineapples in the kitchen garden, tree ferns and bromeliads in the jungle at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, captivated my imagination as a child. Climate resilient, naturalistic and ecological planting and how this relates to communities is close to my heart.”

Marko says: “I am passionate about planting and meeting friendly people willing to share knowledge about plants. Naturalistic and wildlife friendly gardens is what I‘m passionate about.”

Saachi says: “The seasonal interest which plants offer in the UK, has always excited me coming from a tropical part of India. The surprising qualities of plants inspired me to work in the horticultural industry. I am passionate about garden design which informs climate resilience and which also brings joy to people.”
