Agapanthus for garden borders

Many agapanthus thrive in a sunny spot, coping well with a range of soil conditions. One of the main differences is the height of the flower spike - from about 30cm (1ft) to over 1.2m (4ft) - so here are some taller and shorter options.

Hardy agapanthus with flower heads 1-1.5m (3½-5ft) tall

Hardy agapanthus with flower heads 50cm-1m (20in-3½ft) tall

Hardy agapanthus with flower heads up to 50cm (20in) tall
