Corylus avellana 'Anny's Purple Dream'PBR

hazel 'Anny's Purple Dream'

A small-medium deciduous shrub to about 3m, with beautiful colour. The slightly glossy leaves open in spring as a very dark purple, which fade slightly to purple-green for the rest of the summer. In autumn they turn dark yellow before falling. If catkins form in the spring, they are pale mauve and may develop into edible nuts
